"Now let's tie it all together"

firstly I made a start on the branches of the pine tree
A lot of patience and many layers of various greens, dark shadows and highlights and the decisions of how to use the branches to still have movement and allow the viewer to see through to the tantalising areas below.
I quickly realized I had overestimated the width of the trunk. The yellow helped me to reduce it and I left that for tomorrow when it would be properly dry.
Tweaks here and there, some brollies on the sunny beach, almost invisible as the sun is strong and if you look hard, you may spot the odd figure strolling about way below.
I still have the white chimney to complete in the left foreground, so I lay down the background colour and some shading ready to refine tomorrow when I believe I will have a lot of greenery to adjust and also some new branches and leaves to add. Some of the close ups help you to see the glazes as they dry.
Now to leave overnight and wait for the magic to happen.
